A hazy dark orange beer with a thin clumping off-white head. The aroma is sweet acidic and yeasty - as if it hasn’t finished fermenting. The flavor is sweet with notes of oranges and yeast, as well as light notes of metal and a hint of acidity. The body is light, as a Kölsch is supposed to be, but the flavor is not as clean as it is supposed to be. I’m disappointed.

An almost opaque brown beer with a dense brown head. The aroma is very light, what is there is sweet malty and nutty. The flavor is sweet and the mouthfeel very smooth. The flavor contains notes of malt and nuts as well as hints of chocolate, leading to a dry bitter hoppy end. It has more body than the usual Schwarzbier and are more bitter too. I can’t really find the style, but it is a very drinkable beer.

A hazy amber-orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is light - but what is there is nicely Cascade hops giving it a little citrus hint combined with hints of caramel. The flavor is sweet yet very dry, with quite a bitter finish. The flavor contains notes of hops, grass, citrus, and caramel. To me it is close to an IPA, than a Pale Ale, and it lacks a little sweetness.

(On tap) Completely black and opaque with a small, beige head. Lightly burned malt aroma and a faint touch of the added smoke malt. Fairly light body with some roasted, dry slightly coffeeish notes. Some underlying malt sweetness and a short, dry but not overwhelming bitterness. More fruity than your typical German Schwartzbier. 071005

(On tap) Hazy golden (also with this one future brews are planned to be filtered) actually quite yellowish with a creamy head that leaves a pretty lacework. Slightly sulphurous aroma. Very dry body with a solid hopping. Lightly malty with a finish that’s less smooth but more aggressive and bitter than your typical Kölsch. 071005

(On tap) Hazy amber golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Very fat, hoppy aroma. Slightly caramelish malt, but the beer is completely dominated by the very dry and crisp aroma hops leaving a solid dose of bitterness. 071005

(On tap) Hazy, dark reddish with no head at all but a very lively carbonation. Distinct and very fresh berry aroma. The flavour of blackberry is very marked, fresh and pleasant with an underlying acidity that matches the fruity sweetness perfectly. A very refreshing fruit beer, almost reminding me of a fruit lambic. It’s definitely fresher than most Belgian fruit witbiers. Brewer Thomas Rasmussen is planning to filter this in the future. 071005
