(Keg at Craft Beer Co Hammersmith, 20191016) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, chocolate and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A clean and nice dry burnt brew.

Keg @ Deviant & Dandy Taproom, Hackney. Cloudy yellow-amber with a small head. Easy enough to sip as it's a tad weak tasting, but maintains a hoppy-citrus-fruitiness all the same.

Keg at Hackney Church. Sweet citrus aroma with some lactose. Hazy dark amber. Bubbly white head. Juicy. Some light bitterness. A tad sour, moreso into the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Flat carbonation, just a hint of life. Dry finish. Hmm... if you watered down some juice with soda water and added a some IPA then this would be the result. Not bad for low ABV but also kinda confusing.

Keg at the Deviant & Dandy taproom. Pours unclear gold with a tight, creamy white head. Super drinkable, nice pithy citrus, restrained bitter lemon rind, grapefruit, mellow dry pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean, balanced finish. Solid.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours deep amber with a foamy, off-white head. Actually not too bad. Certainly some oily lime, moderate lightly toasted malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with restrained zesty citrus. Alright.

Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours mostly clear gold with a foamy, white head. Not bad overall, fairly old school, some ripening citrus, a bit of pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Supportive pale malts to finish, more citrus fruits. Fine.
