From cask at Bree Louise. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity hoppy. Slight malty flavoured. Lingering fruity, slight bitter and dry bitter. Lasting fruity impression into the finish.

From cask at Junction Tavern. Pours cloudy and dark orange to brown with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and slight breadish malty. Roasted malty and slight breadish flavoured. Vague fruity note. Bitter and malty finish.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber-brown in colour with a thin cream head; fruity malt aroma; fruity malt flavour; with a gently bitter finish. A plain and simple bitter, very drinkable.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense cream head that laced the glass nicely; earthy aroma; creamy floury body with a dry grapefruit finish. An OK golden ale.

Cask (handpump) @ Wenlock Arms, 26 Wenlock Road, London, Greater London England N1 7TA.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit - apricot - mango, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20091230]

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Golden with a dense cream head; fruity aroma; intense fruity flavour with raspberries, strawberries and plums - not too sweet and with a chewy malt body; the finish is tart with some underlying dry biscuity tones. Pretty good.

Cask at the Three Horseshoes, Marlow. Deep copper with a dense cream head; malty aroma; nutty, chewy, roasted malt flavour with English hops leading to a dry finish. Satisfying.

Draught. Copper with a white head. Malty aroma. light body and carbonation. taste is malty with some interesting hints of fruit and spice and a bit of hoppy bitterness. Nice beer, not terribly interesting.
