Shared at the April 2024 PS tasting, 4/13/24. Thanks to Kat S. Black, medium tan head, average retention. Aroma of roast, chocolate, molasses, maple, vanilla, brownie. Taste is oak, molasses, raisin, vanilla, whiskey, lots of chocolate. Full bodied, chewy. Very nice.

Pint Can. Cloudy yellow pour with a medium sized white head that has fair retention. The aroma is sweet with guava, grapefruit and persimmons. The taste, like the aroma, is guava, grapefruit and persimmons. The palate is a bit stick with soft carbonation. Finishes long and sweet with lingering guava. Almost cloying on the finish. Overall: Decent, a really different take on the NEIPA. Paired well with some pretzels.

Pint can. Mostly clear yellow color with a medium white head that has good retention. The aroma is strong with grapefruit and lemons. The taste is very mild with grapefruit, lemon and some pineapple. The palate was a bit on the thin side. Finished short and dry with some lingering grapefruit. Overall: Decent: Rather mild for what passes for an IPA these days. No abv on can--but I would not be surprised to learn this is a low abv IPA. Drinks very easy

Single from Mr. B's. Stemless back at the hotel. Dark brown on black, opaque pour. Sticky, messy, coffee cream head. Malty, stuffy, odd funky fruit & mildly smokey meat nose. Bittersweet coffee, brown sugar sweetness, coffee creamer, dark fruits, burnt veggies, lingering bitter herbal, extra toasty, light coconut oil. Frothy, stuff bubbles, thick, a touch boozy. Good.

Pint Can. Pours a crystal clear yellow gold color with a rather thin sudsy white head that soon dissipated. The aroma is medium in strength with grapefruit and guava. The taste, like the aroma, is grapefruit, lemon pith, guava, pine and crackers. Bitterness is pronounced and provided by the pine. The palate is full and the carbonation is lively. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Decent summer quaff. Very much a west coast style IPA. Paired well with some Swiss Beemster cheese. Note: No ABV printed on the can.
