Ridiculously hazy, straw yellow coloured body with a very thick, relatively large-bubbled, frothy pure white head that fades pretty quickly and leaves a nasty lace on the sides. Aroma of very juicy, strong citrus fruits with oranges, tangerines, papaya and mangoes with a bit of sugars and not much else - very nice smell! Medium to Full-bodied; Very juicy flavours dominate up front with full oranges, a bunch of tangerines, some rich melons and mangoes and a very nice wheatie and oaty malt bill that makes this go down very easily with almost no bitterness or funky qualities - this is almost as easy-drinking as pure juice, and the alcohol in this one, seems around 6 or 7 per cent - that's it! Aftertaste is super clean-drinking, very fruity, pretty rich and while sweet, this isn't cloying at all, and again - the alcohol here is hidden extremely well! Overall, a very nice true New England IPA that shows Imperial Status really only from the richness of the malts and the fruit flavours, but not from anything else, and that's okay! A great beer for the style and one worth trying to find if you can and if you like the style! I'll be looking for more from this brewery the next time up North! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 05-September-2022 for US$4,49, canned on 07-July-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 11-October-2022.
