Description

It’s safe to say that we like beer. In fact we like beer so much that we started our own brewery and it’s an employment requirement that everyone who joins our team is also passionate about beer. Obviously we’re a business so we have to make a profit each year so we can carry on working in the industry we love. We do that by making the best beer that we can.

Cask at EBF XX, EUSC, 02/04/15. Light black with a decent beige covering that retains well. Nose is biscuit, spice, chocolate, fruit cake mix, toffee, figs. Taste comprises light charr, toffee, liquorice, spice, dark fruit rinds, aniseed, light cocoa notes. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough strong.

Cask (handpump) @ EBF18 2014, 18th Egham Beer Festival, Egham United Services Club (EUSC), 111 Spring Rise, Egham, Surrey, England TW20 9PE. [ As Downlands Pele ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, grass, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, grass, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140807]

[ As Downlands Devils Dyke Honey and Ginger Porter ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, spicy, ginger. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, ginger, spicy, sweet honey notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140807]

Cask at EBF XX, EUSC, 02/04/15. Black topped with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is rich roast, spice, charr, cocoa powder, toffee fudge. Taste comprises rich roasted tones, earthy, toffee, chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, roasty close. Decent cask porter.

Cask at EBF XX, EUSC, 02/04/15. Very lightly hazed golden amber topped with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is caramel, candied fruit peel, bitter orange. Taste comprises orange pith, spice, lgiht pine, tangerine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, earthy hop strokes in the close. Ok amber.

Gravity dispense at EBF XX, EUSC, 02/04/15. Mahogany brown with a decent beige covering that retains well. Nose is toffee, dark fruit peel, spice, fruit cake mix, malty tones, liquorice. Taste comprises biscuit malt, light charr, toffee, earthy, dates, raisens. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff.
