Description
The Fuzzy Duck Brewery is an eight barrel (1300 litre) plant located in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. The brewery started as a half barrel plant located at the home of the Head Brewer (Ben Croston) in Preesall in January 2006. Demand immediately outstripped supply and after a lengthy search, new premises were found in Poulton-le-Fylde. On 17th October 2006 the first brew, 'Pheasant Plucker' was completed on the new 8 barrel plant.

31/1/2020. Cask at the 13th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear dark amber with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, fruit, veg and biscuit. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

29/1/2020. Cask at the 13th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours almost black with minimal head. Aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, light roasted malt, and the slightest hint of rum. Medium sweetness, very light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Easy drinking, lightly roasted, chocolate finish.

Cask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. Bubbles on the surface, dark ruby-reddish body, dotted spots on the glass. Caramel malty nose, roasted. Flavoured with caramel malts joined by moments of dried fruits. Ends with roasted bitterness. Fine bodied. Quite nice. (07.02.2019).

Gravicask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. A bright golden body. Bubbles on the surface, fair lacing. Promising aroma of mid-sweet malts and floral hops. Taste noble hops, bread and biscuit. Smooth ending with fruity impact. Pretty alright. (07.02.2019).

Gravicask at 37th Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Shared with Finn. A warm golden body under a filmy white layer, spotty lacing. Floral hops on the nose. Fresh citrus flavours, hints of spices. Rounded hop fruity ending with a bitter touch. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (07.02.2019).

Cask @ Fleetwood Beer & Cider Festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops, roast malt, chocolate and has a nice bitter finish.
