Black beer, white head. Light aroma of chocolate and malt. Taste is quite mild. Chocolate malt, some coffee. Bit thinner than I'd like. Decent though.

Catching up on ratings from GBBF 2016. From cask. Poured dark amber colour, with an average sized off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, molasses, light fruit. Full bodied, slick texture. East drinking, and enjoyable.

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Almost clear deep amber beer, thin pale tan head. Malts are sweet with a tangy caramel - toffee. Ripe fruits. Mild marmalade and floral orange. Dry finish. Fine if not very porter like.
