Tap at Jónás Kézműves Sörház, Budapest. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is light earthy chocolate, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big grass hop, citrus palate and a long-lasting bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

cloudy orange colour, minimal off-white head; aroma and taste of caramel, grassy-resiny notes, bread, hints of citruses and some sauerkraut; low carbonation; I expected much more from this beer, really disappointing

0.33l bottle. Slightly hazy orange body, white head. Aroma of caramel with lots of citrusy, grassy, piny hops, elderflower and grapes. Taste of caramel, pine, grapefruit and some toast. Pretty bitter. I really like this beer.

Sörmanufaktúra. Csokoládés, gyümölcsös könnyed, nem az a nagyon testes fajta. Kesernyés, éppen megfelelő szénsavasság.Ünnepi ital. Ez nagyon el lett találva.

Bottled 330ml. -from Kézműves Csemege Budapest. Deep black coloured, medium sized brown head, intensive hoppy nose. A way too strong hops presence that takes over everything else. Strong bitter finish and even stronger bitter aftertaste. One-dimensional. Didn’t like it. But look at the bright side, goes well with heavy chocolate cake...the cake reduces bitterness...LOL. Have to try it again.

2016 rating: Thanks Hrabren! Dark blackish brown-amber body with an off white head. Caramel, huge caramel in the aroma. mild roast. Taste... toasty, caramel maltiness, quite fine, with a roasty finish. Herbal notes. Creamy. More malt than hop driven. Fine solid bitterness in the finish. Still a good beer, great roasty malty backbone, but this has just trances of the hoppiness that made the batch I’ve tried one of the best beers I’ve tried in 2014.2014 rating: Bottle at Csak a jó Sőr, shared with Srđan and Nataša (thanks!). New batch? Not sure, but this was fantastic. Black body, a blast of aroma hops, backed by sweet, caramelly roastiness. The malt backbone is strong enough, full, with notes of orange, creamy mouthfeel, seems damn fresh in some way. Wow, just wow. 8/4/8/4/16
