On tap @ Bergen Ølfestival. Pours dark golden with a small head. Aroma is quite fruity with orange and orange peel as well as flowers and honey. Normal body and soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter with orange peel and grapefruit, but with a roasted malt backbone with notes of caramel. A decent first, but nothing special.

On tap @ Pingvinen. Deep golden/amber body with a small tan head. Quite modest aroma of caramel malt and a bit fruity. Flavor is fruity, light caramel malt and moderate but pleasant bitterness. Medium body and a bit short on aftertaste. Nice and quaffable lager.

Sampled at Bergen Ølfestival 2012. Clear golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma has lemon, light caramel and some butterscotch. Flavor is Sweet malty, light caramel, some fruit, some bitterness and again a bit of butterscotch. Medium body and some kind of sweet bitterness in the aftertaste. There is something here, but to plain and one-dimensional, would have been better without the butterscotch, would apreciate a bit more complexity and hop flavor.

200ml, 6.0% abv, served from tap at Pingvinen. Patch, bubbly, white layer blanketing the glass. Close to clear golden body. Smell of mid, sweet, dry fruits added by earthy malts. Sweaty hops and hints of buttery malts in flavour. Dry fruity ending, not overly bitter. Quite well bodied, but only partially satisfying (Bergen, 17.09.2012).

200ml draught at Pingvinen. Brown-reddish body colour. Tiny layer with a few patches. Modest malt-fruity smell. Brown malts and mid-dried fruits creating a jam-like flavour. Refreshing malt-bitter ending. Quite well bodied. Has definitely got its moments of joyful beer drinking (Bergen, 17.09.2012).

On tap at Pingvinen. It pours a small, light beige head over an almost clear, amber body. Caramel maltiness, a faint roasted touch, some dried fruits and some piney hops. Semi-dry on the palate, pleasantly carbonated. The flavour is quite pleasant, lightly roasted, with caramel, nuts, a touch of dried fruits, and a little bitterness. Toffee, nuts and bitterness in the end. Pleasant. 120908

On tap at Bergen ølfestival. An almost clear one, golden in colour and with a small, off-white head. A touch of butterscotch on the nose, soon overpowered by the grassy, resiny and light citrusy hops. Some toffee in the flavour, a little sweetness, but mostly its dry. Grass, resins and a nice bitterness. Medium body, maybe a bit hard carbonation. Bitter and fruity finish. A decent beer, but nothing more. 120908
