21/7/2018. Cask at The Pele micropub, Corbridge, Northumberland. Pours clear pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of lemons, lemon cheesecake, biscuit and hops. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness, light sour. Light body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

11/6/2018. Cask at The Strawberry, Newcastle. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small creamy just off-white head. Aroma of hop, fruit, malt, grass, biscuit and caramel. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight grainy texture, soft carbonation.

26/4/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours dark mahogany brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, dark fruits, light coffee, toffee and liquorice. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight creamy texture, soft carbonation.

Cask-conditioned, at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/4/2018. Golden in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Some floral hops, ripe citrus fruits, touch of green herbs and biscuity malts, leading to a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at George & Dragon, Heighington. Golden colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and citrusy aroma. Flavour is malt caramel, with some biscuit and tangy citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle station. Golden amber colour, white foam head leaving lacing and fruity malty aroma. Taste is malty, grainy, caramel, toffee with some mellow fruity hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry dusty finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle station. Pours dark red brown with a lasting bubbly off-white head. Aroma of malt, nutty biscuit, toffee, citrus and dark fruits and bread. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily and slightly watery texture, soft carbonation.
