Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 13/10/12. Clear pale golden with a thin white head. Caramel malt nose, light vegetal aroma, peas. Taste follows, light caramel and fruit, less veggy. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. File under ’W’.

Cask@GBBF2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, floral notes, bread and some mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, mildly toasted and some slight caramel. Pleasant and nicely bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Nottinghamshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol March 2012. Near black with a slight, off-white head. Aromas of dark chocolate, porridge oats and roasted malts. Flavour had more oats and chocolate before a dry finish. Very good.

Cask-conditioned at the Nottinghamshire beer festival, Seven Stars, Bristol March 2012. Golden coloured with a slight white head. Light grassy hop aroma. Flavour had some cereal malts, sweet fruit and a mildly bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of fresh cereal with floral notes. Dry and grainy flavour with herbal and grassy, very bitter hops.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2011. Pours a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. has a fruity malty hoppy caramel finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow colour with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light hoppy, citrus - grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110803]
