Description
In 2010, Rob decided to take his passion for cider making to the next level and became a craft cider producer. Over 9 years the company has expanded and now provides a variety of ciders across the Country but has not lost its original heritage or authenticity. The company, based in the quintessential village of Hallaton, Leicestershire produces a range of ciders using apples from orchards in Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire and from the farm itself.

Draught @ Canalhouse, Notts. Pours clear gold, sparkling. Sweet apple aroma, accessible blend, moderately sweet with light desert apples. Not a lot of character but a balanced easy-drinking cider all the same.

Bag in a box at Bankers Draft, Bedford. Yellow/gold and slightly hazy with a small loose head. Slight aroma of wood and orchard fruit. A slight plasticy off-note spoils the bouquet. Taste is decent but simple and uninteresting, slightly bittersweet but almost like drinking weak pear squash. Short reasonably bitter finish. Not keen.

Bag in Box @ JDW Shrewsbury Hotel Cider Fest July 14. Pours hazy yellow with bubbly receding head. Bright sugary pear aroma, crisp light taste with juicy overripe pears and lots of pear drops. Nicely balanced but gets a little too sweet by the end.
