Tap Social grew out of a passion for good beer and social justice. We are a craft brewery and hospitality social enterprise that provides training and employment opportunities to ex-offenders and welcoming, inclusive spaces for the whole community. Tap Social Movement was founded in 2016 by Paul, Amy and Tess.

Appearance is amber, quite dark, a pillowy 3-4 finger head. Aroma- hops, pineapple, orange hints, grapefruit and some tropical fruit, caramel malt traces. Taste- bitter hops, pineapple, juicy fruit, orange peel, rough malt undertones.

I like the ethics of the brewery and they are backing them with decent beer.

Keg at Small Bar, Bristol, 02/02/19. Light haze on a golden amber pour with a well presented off white head. Nose is tangerine, melon, toasted grains, citric tinged straw. Taste comprises orange peel, light breads, hint of pine, grass, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok session gear.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear light copper pour with a creamy off white head, aroma has light pineapple and some caramel, taste has sweet malts, hint of pine.

330ml bottle from Favourite Beers, Cheltenham. Pours misty golden amber, small off white head. Aroma has grapefruit, herbal notes. Taste brings you grapefruit, spft fruity notes, herbal moments, soft bitterness. Generally well rounded and quite drinkable. Nice

Keg @ The Wolf, Birmingham. Pours black, good tan head. Malty roast on the nose. Taste presents a grainy, roast, chocolatey character with a soft caramel sweetness underneath. Decent stout.
