Bottle at Drunk Dry, Kidlington, Oxon at a MTB evening with Tap Social Movement, Thursday 2nd February 2017. Pours dark brown with a slight off white, creamy head. This is a pleasant stout that ticks all of the right boxes, a steady roastiness giving way to some coffee and a gentle bitter bite. Nice mouthfeel, good carbonation, I enjoyed this but found it lacking just a little something, it perhaps needs just a little tweak or two to make it stand out from the crowd and turn it from being a very decent beer to maybe something that I would return to on a regular basis. Keykeg at Drunk Dry, Kidlington, Oxon at a MTB evening with Tap Social Movement, Thursday 2nd February 2017. Warm orangey/gold in colour with a white head, the coldness of this is blunting the aroma a little. Fruity in the mouth, predominantly citrus with a real lean towards grapefruit coming through. Good carbonation leaving a nice soft mouthfeel, dry finish, really very good, I had three of these this evening. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6
