Description
Founded in 2018 in Boothtown, this is as Yorkshire as it gets. Steep hills and grit wrapped up in a cracking sense of humour.

That said, our beers are no joke. Ours is a fully vegan range, the core beers and the seasonal bevs! Wherever we can, we get the finest of local ingredients in. On the off-chance Yorkshire can’t provide, our passions lead us to the best options. The result – some absolutely belting beers.

The first of three post Bradford Camra Beer Festival 2026 Beers once back in my home town, an afterthought so to speak. Mildly hazy golden tropical fruit brew in both aroma and taste, quite hoppy too.

3rd December 2025
Cask at Pigs Ear. Clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft pale malts, sweet enough. Bullion hedgerow fruits, a little blackberry. Light and semi dry finish brings mild hop spice. Solid UK single hop affair.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours golden yellow with minimal almost white head and good lacing. There’s citrus and honey in the aroma. In the mouth it is bitter with a creamy / deep texture but a little underlying sweetness too. Flavour has floral hops, marmalade and citrus. Hints of ginger later as well leading to a slightly dry and bitter finish. This is decent.

Beer number #6 at the Skipton Beer Festival 2025. Took a walk to the town's castle as far as its Gate Tower earlier. This Tower named brew is an another traditional styled beer - all have been so far, hopped mainly, mild fruit available. Clear golden colour.

Cask (gravity) at Brunswick, Derby. Pours pale yellow with minimal off-white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and honey. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy but with a little underlying bitterness. Flavour is initially malts, grains and a trace of berry fruit, but some citrus and honey come through later. Finish is slightly fruity. Cask lager isn’t one of my favourite styles, but this is decent.
