Third post Wigan Beer Festival afterthought, a black with lots of faults about it, mainly its too watery texture, which serves to give it an ultra-weak stout taste. Has a bit of roasted in aroma.

Last beer of a relatively heavy day out! Cloudy gold with a small bubbly / frothy white head and a big fruity aroma. Soft and smooth, minimal bitterness, big on juicy fruit, finishes somewhat dry and bittersweet.

This beer name conjures up images of wellies jumping up and down in puddles. Hazy yellow-gold in appearance, and it's an easy session citrus based beer, which is light, and a little more stated in taste than aroma.

Winter ale after a winter ramble in the hills around Malham. Golden in colour, a little more pale ale for me than solid golden style, but with a flavoursome hoppy dryness and a session strength it's really good.

Christmas Eve Beers #7. Regular porter in design and taste, with a light roasted and sweetish mixed dark malt character.
