Rigg & Furrow is an authentic farmhouse brewery. Giving a new lease of life to our old milking parlour we create new takes on Farmhouse beers - beers originally brewed for thirsty farm workers. Brewing by hand, our independent, family run brewery creates exciting, innovative, fermentation focused beers.

Panda at home, from Grumbo - cheers Graham, 12/12/22. Golden amber with an off white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is brown bread, stewed fruits, biscuit, grains, herb. Taste comprises stewed fruits, biscuit, toffee, lights spice, leafy notes, brown bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay offering.

3/12/2022. Can shared at the post-Australia Blues beer share. From CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear dark amber with a large frothy/foamy off-white head. Aroma is bready, malt, caramel, fruit, dried fruit, chalky edge. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness with a light spicy peppery edge. Medium body, oily, quite lively. Likeable.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow with a slight haze. Big foamy white head. Nose - floral, orange, sweet melon and an edge of ripe mango. Taste - orange, melon and lightly bready backdrop. Palate - creamy texture, light bodied, nice balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - good beer!

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange with a creamy snow white head. Nose - orange and very ripe melon. Taste - more melon, then orange zest. Palate - light bodied, with a dry, zesty finish. Overall - quite good.
