Description
Rigg & Furrow is an authentic farmhouse brewery. Giving a new lease of life to our old milking parlour we create new takes on Farmhouse beers - beers originally brewed for thirsty farm workers. Brewing by hand, our independent, family run brewery creates exciting, innovative, fermentation focused beers.

18/7/2019. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of hops, malt, citrus, pine, tropical fruit, light herbal and earthy notes. Moderate sweetness with medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, very soft carbonation. Enjoyed this.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich citrus hops, flowers, tropical fruits, malt and has a nice hoppy citrus finish.

Aroma of wild yeast, wood, dark chocolate, whisky, gooseberry and dark fruit. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness, light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Very woody, bretty finish. Dryness and a little more tartness develops. Great complexity. Liked this a lot.

16/4/2019. Cask from 2019 Newcastle Beer and Cider Festival, sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed. Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly lasting beige head. Aroma of milk chocolate, maltesers, vanilla, lactose, sweet milky drinking chocolate and a little light roasting. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Light fruity, biscuit finish. Nice.
