Gravity cask at the 2019 Leicester Beer Festival. This is light golden, slightly hazy, with a smattering of uneven white head. Smells sweet - honey, butterscotch, lime zest, coriander, a touch of bubblegum. Tastes sweet as well, with the delicate yest adding complexity: it is slightly tart and a little bitter in the finish, and very warming for the ABV. Body is a bit too thin but overall this is impressive stuff.

Gravity cask at the 2018 Nottingham Beer Festival, Motorpoint Arena. Reddish brown and clear with negligible amount of head. Woody aroma with just the lightest suggestion of astringency. Bittersweet taste with sugary raspberry notes and an oaky tartness in the long finish. Kumquat peel and TCP in the aftertaste. If only all cask bitters tasted this good!
