Rigg & Furrow is an authentic farmhouse brewery. Giving a new lease of life to our old milking parlour we create new takes on Farmhouse beers - beers originally brewed for thirsty farm workers. Brewing by hand, our independent, family run brewery creates exciting, innovative, fermentation focused beers.

Cask @ Nottingham beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, flowers, malt and hops. Nice fruity finish.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival. Cloudy golden with a white hed. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 171018

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours golden, nose is funk, citrus, toffee, taste is juicy citrus, resinous, sweet.

Cask at the Masons Arms, Amble. Pots hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of pine and cereal. Taste has a light pithy bitterness. Light sweet finish.

24/7/2018. Cask at the Town Mouse, Newcastle. Pours hazy golden amber with a mid sized off-white head. Aroma of hops, yeast, fruit and malt with light peppery notes. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

ABV: 5.8%. Cloudy medium amber orange colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, bread, caramel, rye - oat, moderate to light heavy hoppy, pine, citrus, grapefruit, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, citrus - grapefruit, pine - orange, dusty, rye - oat, sweet malt, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20180724]

23/7/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of Simcoe hops, lemon, grass, straw, flowers, tropical fruit, biscuit and pine. Medium sweet, light bitterness. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Nice, except for the fizziness.

20/7/2018. Bottle from CentrAle, Newcastle. Pours clear pale gold with a small off-white head. Very nice pouring aroma, hoppy, fruity, citrusy, floral, light caramel, malt, light herb and yeast. Light to moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Light boy, slight oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Bittersweet tropical fruit finish. Tasty brew.

Taste of soft spicy hops, light fruits, light flavour, some grain, bit watery
Palate - Light body, little oily, very light bitter. Finish - very light spicy bitter
Overall - Very light flavours, not much of interest here
