Description
Rigg & Furrow is an authentic farmhouse brewery. Giving a new lease of life to our old milking parlour we create new takes on Farmhouse beers - beers originally brewed for thirsty farm workers. Brewing by hand, our independent, family run brewery creates exciting, innovative, fermentation focused beers.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of grains and green beans. Taste is on the astringent side of things. Bitter greens, chewy finish.

Appearance - golden and clear. White head.
Nose - very grainy, mushy peas too.
Taste - more of the same.
Palate - light bodied, not refreshing though.
Overall - unusual, I've enjoyed most of this brewery's beers. This is hard work.

Appearance - deep brown to black with some orange chinks. Beige head.
Nose - yep, coffee bean and chocolate breakfast cereal.
Taste - intense coffee bean, milky coffee going into mocca.
Palate - medium bodied at least, roasty finish after gentle sweetness in the middle.
Overall - good stuff!

Appearance - pinky-purple and murky. Foamy pink head like a milkshake.
Nose - earthy and spicy underneath a tangy blackcurrant main note.
Taste - blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf, sweet spice and earthy.
Palate - close to medium bodied, tangy and lightly tart fruit through middle and finish.
Overall - good. Didn't expect to like it as much.

Appearance - murky solid yellow, fizzy white head.
Nose - funk, lemon, candied lemon and floral.
Taste - candied lemon, tarty lemon and again floral.
Palate - light to medium bodied, despite low ABV, dry and long tart finish.
Overall - lovely stuff!

Can from Hops at Home. Pours deep red to people with a thick pink head. Aromas of blackcurrant and spice. Taste is sweet blackcurrant up front, some sharp spicy funk. Dry finish, but a bit thin.
