17/10/2018. Cask at the Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival 2018, Nottingham. Pours cloudy amber with minimal head. Aroma of malt, wood, whiskey and rye. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Liked it.

Cask @ Nottingham Beer Festival. Small head with good duration. Color is hazy amber. Aroma and taste are wood, vanilla, fruits, caramel, malt and hops. Sweet finish.

Cask @ Nottingham beerfestival. No head. Color is hazy water. Aroma and taste are citrus, honey, flowers, lavender and has a sweet warming finish.

Some blueberry but not much apple. Pours ruby reddish pink. Light tangy finish. Tap at Snally.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 3, 09/08/18. Light black with a well presented tan head. Nose is dark malts, fruit esters, brown bread, cocoa sprinkle. Taste comprises fruit slice, toffee, brown bread, light spice, mellow roast malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough cask porter.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 3 09/08/2018. A mostly clear nut brown coloured pour with a halo of beige head, nutty, earth, charred wood. Palate is semi sweet, medium light bodied. Flavour is composed of rustic brown malts, bitter black malts, chcco. Raw choc.. Not bad.

[ As Urban Farm Maine Logger (Pre-Prohibition Porter) ].
ABV: 5.5%. Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, spicy, umami - meat (smoked note). Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet mal, dark malt, roasted - coffee, spicy malt, light umami - meat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180809]
