Description
Starting brewing in 2017 our modern, bespoke 3bbl microbrewery is located in a 16th century shop front falling within the shadow of Tamworth’s historic Norman castle. Two brew days per week produce experimental brews and regular pale hoppy ales to local pubs.

Cask at Tamworth Beer Fest. Opaque cola brown. Foamy bubbly beige head forms a ring. Aroma has coffee and plums. Flavourwise has the same. Bitter and sour. Light sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Sticky slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Alright.

Gravity cask at the 31st Tamworth Beer Festival, Assembly Rooms Tamworth, day 2 - 05/09/2025.
Black topped with a khaki cap that thins to the edge.
Nose is dark malts, plummy notes, dried red berries, mellow roast.
Taste comprises mellow roast, red berry spike, toffee, dark fruit rinds.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Tidy enough porter.

Clear golden blonde with a lasting white cap that stays for the show.
Nose is soft malts, grass, melon, tangerine.
Taste comprises melon, grass, airy malts, papaya, orange peel.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close with mellow hop bitterness.
Tidy cask pale.

ABV: 3.9%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, smoke, plastic, sweet malt, pale malt, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191011]

Taste comprises chocolate, creamy malts, light roast, vanilla, dried red berries.

Taste comprises orange peel, caramel, hedgerow, herb.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.

Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light basil infusion, grass, herb, pale malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close.
Okay offering ... basil is subtle enough and not in yer face.
