33cl bottle from my Secret Santa 2017. Thanks dunklermessias. Poured deep golden color with a thin white head, bit cloudy. Yeasty, with sweet fruits, hops and light piny notes. Marmalady touch in flavor, yeast, sweet oranges, mild pine. Light bitterness. Ok.

Bottle [from trade with RW80] @ home. Hazy yellow to light yellow orange color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, lightly banana, lightly some citrus, moderately sweet and a bit yeasty. Decent body and carbonation. Quite nice, I like this one.

Bottle [thanks RW80] @ home. Opaque murky orange color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, lightly citrus, a hint of peach in the distance and decent to medium bitter. Decent to medium body, medium to firm carbonation.

0.33 l bottle from ’denn’s’ (Gevelsberg), best before December 2017. Very hazy, straw yellow with a medium large, slightly creamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly bready aroma of banana, cloves and some wheat. Slightly sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly bready taste of mainly banana, accompanied by clove, wheat and hints of vanilla and straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and a little sourish finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and rather effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Decent.

Tap at Bielefelder CB&FT-Festival. Hazy, orangey golden colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of mango and red berries, a touch of orange. Taste is initially moderately sweet caramel malty and tropical fruity hoppy, notes of mango, red berries, hints of orange, later with a tart-ish fruit acidic touch, minimally husky undertones in the last third. Compared to their Pale Ale more complex concerning the fruity hop flavours, therefore simultaneously slightly motley and frayed.

Tap at Bielefelder CB&FT-Festival. Hazy, deep orangey golden to amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Piney and fruity hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of pineapple, a tropical fruity touch, some peppery-spicy grassiness. Tap at Bielefelder CB&FT-Festival. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Husky, slightly grainy aroma, some protein, minimally grassy and fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of dried apricot. Taste is husky and mildly hoppy, hints of protein, a grassy hoppy touch, hints of dried apricot. Solid Helles but not a re-invention of the style.
