From tap at Finne, Münster. Nicely grassy hops with a touch of herbal hop. Light grain, straw, hay. Mild bitter, low on sweetness, fairly dry finnish. Smooth and hoppy, they sure nail it with the Lager styles at Finne.

From tap at Finne, Münster. Dark malt aroma with caramel, mocha, coffee, touch of cappucino, milk chocolate. Moderate sweet, has some creaminess. Could be a bit more robust/heavy, but nice as it is.

330ml bottle. Hazy, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, widely disguised, oaty and wheaty malty background, notes of lime, pomelo, gooseberry, unripe peach. Taste is tart-ish and mildly bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, oaty and wheaty malty basis with low residual sweetness, notes of lime, pomelo, unripe peach, unripe nectarine, a touch of white grapes; lingering hoppy finish with a mildly bitter touch of lime peel and other fruit parings. Creamy texture, smooth and super-soft, silky palate, fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, excellent mouthfeel especially, homogeneous, refreshing - pretty good.

Bottle. Opaque dark brown/black with an ok beige head. Aroma of dried fruits, malts, raisins and toffee, Taste of caramel, dried fruits, metal, raisins, minerals and chocolate with some lemons and herbs. Low to moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Balanced, not overly complex and easily enjoyable.

Thanks Holger. Malty caramel, grain. Caramelly sweetness with hints of grain in the back. Easy to drink, moderate dry bitter in the end.

330ml bottle. Quasi black colour with minimally late awakening, average, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, chocolately, minimally bready and almost a tad ashy, dark malty aroma, hints of cocoa, dark chocolate, pumpernickel, minimally mineral overtones. Taste is roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty, mildly bitter and minimally fruity hoppy, hints of cocoa, dark chocolate, a weak touch of orange, orange peel, mild roasty and hoppy bitterness, some mineral aspects with a touch of blood and iron. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Covers a nice spectrum of malty flavours, maybe a tad too dry and light bodied - solid.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass with a small head. Starts mild, fine malty, some spicy hints as well. Mild bitterness. Wheaty touch. Finish well balanced. Not bad!
