Minimally spicy and starchy, pale malty and grassy, minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of yellow stone fruit, a touch of honey. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively light and refreshing for the style, rather hoppy as well - not bad.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Slightly bready malty, minimally doughy yeasty and minimally citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of crisp bread, a touch of lemon tea. Taste is slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, doughy yeasty and bready malty, hints of lemon and crisp bread, a touch of lemon tea. Creamy-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Not overly doughy yeasty, bready malty instead; fairly hopped but not with enough punch to disguise the breadiness - OK.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before September 2023. Pitch black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, quite fruity-resiny aroma of blueberry, tropical fruits, pine, dark chocolate and coffee. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty, quite fruity-resiny taste of dark chocolate, hard roasted coffee, licorice, blueberry, tropical fruits and some pine, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good BIPA, fairly hoppy and roasty, pleasant mouthfeel as well. One of the best from Finne so far.

Bottle picked up from Hopfen sei Dank Webshop, Bochum although Liz disagrees and thinks that it’s from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm. Consumed at home listening to Steve Lamaq on 6Music, Tuesday 21st February 2023. Pours black with a light tan head. Wow this is fab a really nice balance of bitterness, roastiness and lovely soft carbonation, citrusy, wow fab, reminds me a little of the fab BIPA beer from TÓl, black malts and bath salts or whatever it’s called.

Bottle. Clear gold with a lovely white head. Aroma of grains, grass, minerals and earthy hops. Taste of grains, grass and bread with a little bit of spice. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. Good. I think it’s pretty Pils-y for a Helles but anyway it was just what I wanted and needed.
