0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before January 2025. Black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and roasted hazelnut, followed by a medium long, quite roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Porter, not too sweet, nicely roasty.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, golden colour, slightly clouded by a shoal of tiny floaters, with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy, pale malty and slightly grassy, hoppy aroma, a touch of thistle, chlorophyll, sorrel, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is mildly bitter, grassy hoppy and minimally strawy, pale malty, hints of thistle, chlorophyll, sedge, sorrel. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth, simultaneously slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Pretty clean concerning the malty side, fairly multifacetted grassy hop flavours - not bad.

Bottle. Cloudy pale orange/yellow with an ok white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, grass and yeast with some subdued banana and clove. Almost Belgian IPA territory. Taste of grapefruits, yeast, grass and wheat. Moderate bitterness. Strong carbonation. Light-bodied. It starts off very promising but taste and body fail to keep up with the aroma. I really like Turtles and they deserve better.

Almost clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of mild sweet grainy malt, straw, cereals. Taste of mild grassy and spicy hops, grains, straw.
