Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. Hazed, pale gold. Sticky, lasting, white froth. Nose has gummy sweets. Lemon and orange. Fresh leaf hop. Clean malt. Taste is a little sweet, with a citrus rind bitterness. Light body. Bright carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Nice one.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2018, day one, 04/12/18. Murky mahogany brown with a decent light beige cap. Nose is Thai spice, chocolate, brown bread, dried fruits. Taste comprises cocoa powder, tea leaves, Thai spice, herbal notes, fruit cake. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Good flavour profile for a Thai spice affair.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, sma tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate, indeed a little milky. Well integrated perfumey floral spice. Little candy fruits. Light finish. Nicely joined up. Works well for me. Good SHV.

Flat black pour. Fragrant, savory aroma. Lacto notes add some sweetness to this, with cinnamon and cardamon lingering.
