Can from Cooperative Supermarket, Hebden Bridge. Dark reddish-brown with a small head. Dark lager fused with light roasted malts that are most prominent in its lingering aftertaste. It's quite a good fusion.

Can from R Campbell's, Leyburn, Yorkshire. Deep red-black with a beige head and a moderate fizz. Nice malty chocolate whiff. Roasty, lightly charred, some grass ans hay hops. A hint of blackcurrant in the dry finish. Maybe just a tad too charred for my liking, but it's still pretty decent.
