Sampled from a bottle, as Juleklokker Ekstra Lagret. Bright surface to a clear mahogany coloured body. Quite prominent smell of mid-sweet liquorice. The taste follows the nose with liquorice up front added by darker malts and yuletide spices. Medium bodied. Not too sweet. Decent seasonal brew (Ølfestival København, firs day 23.05.2013).

From tap at Ølfestival København ’13. Decent off-white head to slightly hazy, amber coloured body. Grass and caramel nose. Grassy and leafy hops together with mid-sweet malts promoting a balancing taste profile. Smooth ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying (Copenhagen, 23.05.2013).
