Bottle shared. Thanks Raul! Light brett on the nose with leather and pine notes. Balance is OK mid-palate but overly dry and bitter on the finish. Needs more brett and maybe more malt to balance things out better. --- Beer merged from original tick of Severus on 18 Jun 2016 at 16:59 - Score: 6. Original review text: Simple and straight forward. Not much Brett. Dry and bitter finish.

Hazy brown amber color. Very caramelly and dried tropical fruit nose but really nose brett. Medium body. Modest bitterness but brett again is really missing. Not bad but not special.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 01.06.2016.

0.33 l bottle, best before July 2017, shared by markoijelena, thanks! Dark brown to black with a dark beige head. Sweetish, slightly roasty, and a little spicy aroma of chocolate, some coffee, hazelnut and hints of chilis. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a little spicy taste of chocolate, milk coffee, hazelnut and maybe hints of orange, followed by a medium long, slightly roasty-bitter and perhaps a little peppery finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay, didn’t get much of neither the chilis nor the orange.

Light, clear golden. Just a bit of foam. Aroma has some cabbage, sour sauerkraut with malty base. Somewhat disturbing. Taste is better, feels crisp and refreshing and if you gulp fast, even nice. If you stop for a taste, well, you really shouldn’t. Vegetable character becomes stronger, something that feel like artificial sweetener.

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Completely clear golden with a minimal, white head. Aroma of pickled cucumber!? Yes, sour, acidic and citric, but it mostly reminds me of pickled cucumbers. Certainly a new one. Not unpleasant, just a lot of pickled cucumbers!? Strange one, but certainly interesting.

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Almost completely clear amber with a lasting, off-white head. Very fruity aroma, lots of tropical fruits, canned peaches and hints of caramel and citrus. Don’t get much of the Brett, but there is a certain dryness and hints of acidity present. Anyway it’s an extremely fruity IPA with a more modest bitterness. Certainly tasty and enjoyable on a sunny day outside, but still lacking some oomph.
