22/9/2018. Bottle from Honest Brew. Pours dark mahogany brown with an average sized beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, rye, toffee, hint of coffee and fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Roasted, chocolate finish. Good brew.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Kinnegar Crossroads ].Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, orange, fruity hops, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity hops, orange, dusty, woody. Can at home, from Honest Brew, 25/08/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is grassy, lemon tinged straw, airy malts, orange peel, melon. Taste comprises gentle orange pith, tangerine, toasted grains, hint of grapefruit, melon, airy malts, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with grassy hop bitterness. Decent clean drinking and flavoursome session gear for 3.5%.

Can split at GBBF '18, day 2, 08/08/18. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is mellow funk, tarte apple skins, damp straw, lemon rind, wood must. Taste comprises light citric piss, apple core, light funk, grassy, white grape must, damp hay, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a very gentle acidic pucker. Decent easy drinking sour.

Can at the GBBF 2018 day 2 08/08/2018. A mostly clear bright yellow coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is nice delicate tart green apple, light mild, funk, cider. Flavour is composed of pucker green apple, tangy, pinch of acid, prickly pear. Cheers Steve. Palate is tart, prickly. Higish carbonation. Pretty good.

Bottle split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, thanks to Steve, 04/08/18. Hazed light golden orange with an off white head. Nose is tangy citric peel, light funk, straw, faint vinegar (from Kinnegar), damp cloth. Taste comprises damp hay, lemon rind, apple core, balsa wood, mellow barnyard. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering effect. Easy drinking and approachable simple sour.
