Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Ugly murky appearance. Spicy malty aroma with candied orange, caramel, overripe fruits, and tea. Pretty sweet flavour with a hoppy bitterness. Body is medium. A bit messy. Sweet, malty and murky. Not much of a NEIPA.

Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with hoppy notes, soft fruits, touch of citrus, notes of coffee, chocolate and liquorice. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Hoppy Porter or Mild Black IPA is just about right. Anyway, pleasant beer.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is fruity with ripe orange and apricot, yeast, malt, some caramel, more ripe (stone) fruit. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and light to moderate bitter. Medium body. Vienna malt and a fruit-forward aroma make for a pretty enjoyable Tripel.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is brown and dark malt with yeast. Touch of roast and liquorice. Dried fruits, raisins, some caramel, ripe pear. Flavour is moderate sweet and fairly bitter for the style. Body is medium. Good Quad, not that sweet or complex but interesting with the bitterness.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is fruity hops, tropical fruits, citrus, mango, some pineapple, lightly malty. Flavour is moderate bitter with a light sweetness. Medium body. Won't inspire actual angels to put their noncorporeal equivalent of vocal cords to work, but this is a fine IPA.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orange, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, slowly diminishing, moderately lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, pale and wheaty malty as well as yeasty fruity, minimally yeasty spicy aroma, notes of yellow stone fruit, whiffs of white pepper, weak phenolic overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, pale and wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, slightly fruity hoppy, notes of yellow stone fruit, some mandarine, orange, a touch of white pepper.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Sweet and simple, nice spicy touch - decent.

Fles gekocht bij de brouwer, thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout, chocolade en toffee. De smaak is vol friszure kersen en chocolade.
