# 5055; 7/2026. Sulphur, apple aroma. Murky yellow body; no head. Citrus, apple, slightly sulphur and farmyard. Lighter body; softer carbonation; very good drinkability. Very good sagardoa. Shared 0,7 l of green bottle, cider museum, Astigarraga (Basque Country, Spain).

75cl bottle at Les Collines Iduki, Pays Basque relaxing after the French Divide. Pours a hazed yellow. A little tangy, moderately sharp with a zesty fruitiness.. nice.

330mL can at Armsby, 3/9/25.
Good clarity, leaving sediment behind. Pale, lime-golden-brass.
Rich, fruity brett, very bright and vivacious. Juicy apple on the finish.
Dry, engaging, very brett-forward with no over-attenuation/over-expression of the Brett and still allowing a bit of juicy apple sugar on the finish to comfort gently. Funky, fruity, intensely flavorful and with just a phenomenal Brett character.

Tap at the Museo Of Sidra, Astigarraga as part of the tour, which I was the only person on at the time! Golden with a mildly sweet taste, leading to a more bitter finish. Good apple flavour in-between. Dryish.

Cider - Basque ✅ Very tasty and acidic, bordering on vinegary. Lightly carbonated. A taster glass is plenty.

Bottle at Bar Jean. Pours a clear light yellow gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma has slightly sweet apple with a hint of tartness, light earthiness and a slight leaf note. Flavor has more of a dry apple with a touch of sweetness and some earthiness in the finish.
