Tap @ the brewpub. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, hops and has a sweet roasty finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Sweet, malty nose - has an oxidized touch. Rich, malty body with a solid, late bitterness. But hard to run from this cardboard, oxidized touch. Old and dusty.... 310719

Bottle. Dark brown to black in color, with a quite firm finger thick dark beige head. Some lacing. The aroma has coffee, licorice, some booze and roasted malts, dark sugar and a touch of prunes. It's full to medium bodied, smooth and soft on the palate, with just a touch of alcohol warmth. It's quite sweet, with flavors of roasted malts, some charcoal, burnt malts, lightly salty licorice, a touch of booze and some prunes. Not so much coffee in the flavor I think. Lasting finish dominated by the dark malts, with some whiskey on the side. Overall, a quite pleasant beer, tasteful and actually more-ish, which isn't the norm when it comes to Løkken beers. 190708
