[ As Løkken Monkey Fjæs ].Murky matt medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt ,caramel, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, banana - bubble gum. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sweet yeast, weizen yeast - banana. Bottle. A dense, dark beige head of moderate size site on top of a clear looking chestnut body. The aroma has a lovely dried fruits scent with some spiced hints and chocolate notes, but it’s all more or less overpowered by some sweetish and sourish almost puke-like scents. The same is the problem with the flavor, where there’s also some alcohol. It’s full-bodied, warming and decently carbonated, quite sweet on the palate, but not cloying. Long finish with a tad much boozyness. They¨re onto something here, but they have a long way to go. 161228

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pretty much clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet pruney, brown sugars, syrupy, lightly yeasty but overall pleasant. Rich body, again dark dried fruits, syrupy with some late, strong booze. Carbonation is to the low side. Very delicious actually. 210916

Aroma: Fruity sweet with prunes and raisins. Flavour: dark ripe berries and prunes. Aftertaste is dirtlike and dry. Mouthfeel is watery. Colour: dark reddish brown with a fading offwhite head. From: Bottle @ Voldby Købmandsgaard Sept. 2016.

Big beige head. Clear deep dark red barely translucent body. Milky caramelly aroma with fruity notes. Sweet fruity milky toffee taste with fruity coffee notes. Mid-bodied. Sweetish, and faintly dry, milky coffee aftertaste with caramelly vanilla notes. This was actually really good. I’m surprised. (0.33l bottle, from Føtex, Frederikshavn.)

Gusher, contained by careful opening. Small offwhite head. Clear brown body with light carbonation and a few tiny particles. Caramelly linoleum aroma with spicy herbal notes. Sweet papery caramelly taste with mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Sweetish cinnamon and caramel aftertaste with vanilla notes. Quite nice and subtle, and certainly easy-drinking. Bottle. Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Aroma is flour, banana, lemon, groundcherries and chalk. Taste is medium sweet, faint bitter and light acidic. Body is watery with faint carbonation. Finish is a bit short and mostly sweet with notes that follow the nose.
