Bottle @ Home courtesy of Michael, thanks! Pours black with a brown head. Aroma roasted malt, coffee, burnt sugar, light smoke, licorice. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, roast malt, coffee, licorice, light smoke. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Reminds me abit of Thisteds Limfjords porter. 030725

Bottled. An unclear red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of berries, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, fruit, and malt, leading to a dry finish. 6/3/6/3/12

5/10
Jens Smagning - vague fruity with a sweet malty backing, caramel and toffee like sweetness, herbal hoppy accents, body is pretty watery, not doing much for me.

Jens Smagning - overt sweet malty action, some vague indiscernible fruity notes, residual bitterness trying to cut through the sweet malts, subdued hoppy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy, beige head. Chocolatey nose with subtle roast. Medium body, roasty, bitter chocolate and a rather solid bitterness. Not sure I really pick up the licorice though. Well brewed. Perhaps closer to a Schwarzbier. 160924
