Half cask at the Colmore. Clear, light amber, creamy off-white head. Sweet malty aroma. Taste is sweet bready, silky feel, touch of dry bitterness. Exquisite, sumptuous. I could drink this for the rest of my life

Keg @ Northern Whisper Tap House, Rawtenstall. Cloudy light amber with a small head. It’s a citrus based fruity ale with a carbonation, but this is not too prevalent or active. Has a lower citric bitterness at an easy strength.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a very dark reddish brown with a minimal cream head and good lacing. Has a vague aroma of nuts and vanilla. In the mouth it is quite sweet with low carbonation and a creamy texture. Flavour veers between dark fruits and milky coffee. Finish is sweet and fruity. This is OK, but by no means a worldbeater.

Pendle Beer Festival 2020. Dark copper-gold with a mild but significant enough barrel ageing here for a quality aroma and taste in this brew. Crisp and watery otherwise.

Bottle from Drink? Hebden Bridge. Dark dirty hazy amber with next to no head. Doesn't look great but the dunkel styling is very evident in its taste, which has underlying and slightly sweet roasted malts to it, evident in bot aroma and taste.
