Cask at Angel, Stockport. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with minimal cream head. There’s roast malts and biscuits in the aroma plus some hints of vanilla. In the mouth it is slightly sweet and smooth with a creamy texture. There’s dark fruits in the flavour alongside malts and lactose with cola coming through fairly strongly later on. A little bitterness in the finish. This is reasonable.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours almost black with a small foamy tan head and good lacing. The aroma has roasted malts and yeast with some hints of biscuits too. In the mouth it is sweet and slightly juicy but also a little watery. Flavour has dark fruits, vanilla and roasted malts with liquorice coming through later as well. Sweetness lasts into the finish. This is decent.

Beer Number 11 at the Bradford Beer Festival 2025. Strong porter in design, slowing down the sipping. Hints of sweetness here too.

Clear golden colour with a small head. Easy enough session brew, light hoppy flavour and aroma. New Year's Eve drink at my local.

Cask @ Fox And Goose, Hebden Bridge. Darker clear amber with a head. Sweetish bitter style with an ordinary nose in this respect, but fruity undertones in taste.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Hazy Amber-gold with a thick frothy head. Strength m-infused fruitiness, with its strength we winning here.

Spotty beige head on a clear amber coloured body. Malt, marmalade, light hops & tangy citrus tastes. Deece.

Spotty off white head on a clear golden coloured body. Medium to thin bodied, creamy & clean on the back. Pale malt, floral & berry tastes followed by a bitter grapefruit tasting finish. Refresher.
