Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some chocolate and .licorice notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Cask at The Pub, Todmorden. Deeper golden with mild pithy notes within an easy drinking texture. It has clean watery hops and no real fruitiness.

Cask at The Pub, Todmorden. Golden and watery, but not thin. It has a hoppy character with a mild bittered-fruity citrus fruitiness.

Cask at the Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black with a light-brown frothy head. Has a floral roasted nose, with an understated roasted malt taste. It develops a nuttiness in its aftertaste that does linger.

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen (30/05/2019) - hazed orange amber coloured pour with a white head. Light toasted and sweet malty with some notes of marmalade, some caramel and toffee, medium body, soft cask carbonation, twiggy hoppy fruity and sweet malty close.
