Like Edinburgh we’re creative, inventive and outward-looking. We combine old and new ideas and techniques to create beers of beauty.
Inspired by the Edinburgh-born ‘Father of Pop Art’ Eduardo Paolozzi, we showcase the art of brewing. Paolozzi took everyday objects and transformed them into works of art; we take overlooked and underestimated beer styles and present them at their beautiful best.

330ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A bubbly, beige head with fine duration over a pitch black body, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting grainy chocolate malts on the nose. Coffee-chocolate flavours with a backdrop of canned fruit. Smoothly roasted malty end. Easy to drink. Pretty fair. (Tromsø 20.01.2023).

Svart. Høyt tet lysebrunt skum som daler veldig sakte. Aroma av kakao & vanilje. Smaken lettrøstet malt, litt lakris & sjokolade. Lett tørr avslutning - med forsvinnende lite bitterhet. Lett-drikkelig.

Can from Lidl in Inverurie. It pours clear yellow - gold with a fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, grassy, herbal, cereal, slightly nutty, hay, rich tea biscuit and some sponge cake. The taste is dry, quite crisp, snappy, bitter - sweet, green, herbal, grassy, pretty clean, slightly nutty and some cereal with a drying, herbal finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Pretty decent herbal / grassy lager.
