Proper pint at the brewery. Pours a clear, brown color, with a fine, creamy, beige head. The aroma is flamed orange peel, cardamom, butterscotch, and light peat. Sweet and nicely malty, with a mellow, resinous bitterness. Light and smooth. Beautiful, balanced, cask ale.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown black beer, small bubbly tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. The dark malts are dry but contain a good amount of lacto coffee cappuccino and a little espresso. Light semi dry finish. Nice coffee beer, a tad dry.

Cask at GBBF 2022, Olympia, London. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium bubbly beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel taste and aroma. A nice rich tasting porter from Colorado.
