Cask at GBBF '18, day 3, 09/08/18. Hazed golden amber with a light beige covering. Nose is biscuit malts, light spice, caramel, hint of red berries, fruit slice. Taste comprises sweet malts, caramel, fruit esters, dusty hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Decent enough hoppy amber.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, thin cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Tangy malts, a little caramel. Mild spice. Dry floralness. Dry and mildly bitter finish. Some marmalade. Okay.

ABV: 6.0%. ✅ Cloudy - hazy medium amber colour with a small, fizzy - open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, candy - marmalade. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, candy - marmalade. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180809]

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 3 09/08/2018. A hazed nut brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is woody pine, strawberry,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet brown malts, sugar, pine. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, cakey. Not bad.

Clear, honey-to-amber. Off-white head fades to a ring slowly.
Floral notes up front give a good tequila impression but it's still quite light and seems to be just the right amount. Malty, yet not overdone there with light honey and biscuit-like character. No alcohol, low, perhaps lightly floral/herbal hops and no flaw.
In the mouth it's elegant honey-like malt with light floral spiciness behind it. Soft, silky texture with good carbonation and great malt depth yet still proper attenuation leaving the beer dry. A touch of red fruit from the yeast (and malt or barrel?). Honey and soft, vegetal spice for days. Clean and no alcohol. Excellent.

Orange-copper color seems a bit darker than usual for a NE IPA (or a WC IPA, for that matter). Small, off-white head recedes to ring fairly steadily.
Melon, potpourri, other random floral and perfume notes baffle the senses. What the hell is going on here? I get the melon and/or watermelon must be the yeast strain they've chosen, but this smells almost as if they've added lavender, grains of paradise and elderflower.
In the mouth it's lightly spicy with quite a bit of caramel-like specialty malt character. This leads to a dull, bland, watery finish. Undermalted, thin, no softness/depth of malt. Even with more warming/breathing, the extent of flavors I get is mild melon, mild bitterness and light butter. Some light astringency, as well. Yikes.

Pours a copper from a tap, off white head with some lacing. Doesn’t quite seem like the malt bombs I usually try that are “American Strong Ales”. Lemony aroma has a bit of wheat cracker. Flavor is a bit of lemon, maybe some plastic? Ends surprisingly bitter. Thin in the mouth. Good beer.
