Cloudy gold. Short white head. Aroma of clove, banana, grain, spice. Taste is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly tart. Finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly to moderately tart. Medium body, slick texture that is slightly chalky. Hint of nail polish remover in taste. Under carbonated. on tap-pours an off white head and gold color. Aroma is lemon/perfumy, some light malt. Taste is lemon/perfumy/pine/spice hops, sweet light malt. OK effervescence.

This was supposedly brewed with Orval yeast - you can sort of taste its phenols and light funkiness, but these are mostly washed out by a strong candi sugar sweetness - this becomes pretty much all you can taste by the finish - overly sweet and one-dimensional - that Orval yeast saves it from being completely horrible.
