Med-thin body, med-low carbo. Med-light bitter and sweet. Hops is med-light, generally fruity, citrusy. Malt in background. But overall feeling a bit watery, characterless. Not great, not terrible, drinkable, meh.

Tap, side-pull even at Prokopák. Lovely red with amber edges, thick, creamy off-white head. Caramel and dried fruit like plums dominate the smooth malty aroma, mildly spicy. Vague bubblegum-like touches, but wouldn't call the aroma fuselish or alcoholic. Smooth, lean, dry caramelly malty taste, some orange, light herbal hoppiness, simple, but highly drinkable, bit spicy maybe, low, well integrated bitterness shows up, just the vaguest touch of green apple. Very, very drinkable. Great job really! Beats most German takes to be fair!

Draught at Pivovar Prokopák - Copper red in colour. Raisins, leather and notes berries in the aroma. Relatively rich taste with notes of raisins, caramel, leather and dried fruit. A tasty and authentic doppelbock.

Tap at the Prague Castle fest. Pale golden body, white head. A well defined mix of herbal and fruity notes in the aroma in the taste, with a lean, dry taste, reminiscent of a lager more than a typical pale ale. Well made, tasty!

Tap at the IPA fest in Liberec. Misty paler yellow-golden body, with a lasting thick white head. White grapes, onion and wild herbs in the aroma. Smooth creamy taste, white grapes mostly, some lighter wild herbs than in the aroma, somewhat NZ-like, definitely Czech modern-like in some ways. Is it thrilling? No. Is it well made? Sure. And it's fun to try.

Tap at Krkonošská Hospůdka. Clear golden body, white head. Herbal, dry eggy grainy aroma. Bitter, somewhat juicy grainy tasre, lightly eggy, herbal. Works, typical Czech 11° one might say, with a softer body than some.

GBBF Day 2. KeyKeg. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Sweet maltsz very sweet. Sweet creamy malts. The Saaz hops are light and piney with a little spice. Too sweet by far for a Saaz orientated beer.

Tap at Kulovy blesk. Medium body, medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, subtle grassy herbal hoppiness, slightly spicy, light sweetness, bready maltiness with a slightly grainy character. Subtle basementy yeast. Well balanced, classic, pretty good.
