Pours dark mahogany into a Sam glass. Tan head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sweet dark caramel and smoke aromas. Dark smoky chocolate upfront turning to a sweet middle before the dry, earthy finish

Draft at Roo bar in Plymouth, MA killing time prior to a wedding. Pours copper with fluffy head and nice hoppy citrus nose. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, malt, caramel, grass, and floral. Medium bodied and we’ll carbonated, a nice straightforward ipa with 7% abv as a bonus.

12 ounce bottle from Nikki’s Liquors, Providence. Tiny bit of a gusher. Pours a hazy orange color with a large creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big caramel malts with floral hops. The taste is floral, minty and tropical hops with a caramel malt backbone and strong notes of candied citrus. Medium bodied, very slight lingering bitterness. Decent.

On tap at Southern New Hampshire Brewers Fest. Enjoyed in a 2 ounce glass. Dark orange appearance. Smells is pretty sweet with a mild hop presence of citrus like orange zest and grapefruit. Taste is the same as the scent but it has a very old taste like it’s been sitting around for way too long. Maybe fresher is better?

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Clear gold beer. Crisp semi dry palate. Lagerish malt - bittering orangey grapefruit hop in the finish. Not bad.
