On tap at the brewery, pours orange with white head. Nose has pie and spice, apples, malt, caramel. Flavor is the same, cidery, dry spices, caramel. Kitchsy but not bad.

Cask at GBBF '18, day 3, 09/08/18. Light black with a well presented beige covering. Nose is chocolate, spice, dark fruit rinds, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake, mellow roast, faint coffee grinds, chocolate biscuit, light black peppery spice. Medium plus bodied, soft carbonation, light warming alcohol in the close. A solid stout.

Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 3 09/08/2018. A dark. Mahogany brown coloured pour with a a halo of thin tan head. Aroma is nice rich cakey malts, brown sugars, lacto funk, grapey fruits.. Flavour is composed of medium sweet full bodied, brown sugars, vanilla, cakey malts, bourbon burn. Palate is full bodied, good condition.

ABV: 7.6%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, rye, chocolate, dark malt, tart, sour, bourbon - fruity bourbon, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, tart, roasted, dark malt, rye, chocolate, sour, dusty, coffee - sour coffee, bourbon - vanilla, light leather - funky. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180809]

Cask gravity 2018. It pours darkest brown small beige head. The aroma is sweet, oily, spicy, oak, smoked, toasted walnut, leather, burnt toast, toffee, bourboncocoa and vanilla. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, sticky, chewy, oily, burnt toast, spicy, vanilla, toasted walnut, warming boost, dark fruits, char and treacle with a warming finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth feel. Rich and flavoursome. Nice one.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate, decent fine carbonation. Great condition. Smooth malts, little creamy sweetness. Good fruity bourbon, no spice. Touch of wood. Some dark fruits. Smooth finish. Very tasty and drinkable.
