Keg at the hanging bat. Pours black, nose is meaty, marshmallow, roasted, liquorice, taste is similar, chewy, coconut.

Keg at the hanging bat... Dark black.. Thin tan lacing.. Soft sweet chocolate roast malts nose.. Soft dark chocolate roast malts. Mheavy sweet chocolate roast malts.. Heavy chocolate roast.. Light blackcurrant chocolate.. Big cake.. Cherry.. Big sweet malts.. Light fizz.. Thin body

17/7/2018. Cask at By The River Brew Co, Gateshead. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, cherry, cake and cream (Black Forest gateau) with coffee, toffee, vanilla and molasses. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Rich, slightly dry, fruity finish with some bitterness developing. Very nice!

17/7/2018. Cask at By The River Brew Co, Gateshead. Pours cloudy pale yellow gold with a small short lasting white head. Aroma of lemon, yeast, orange, light coriander, hops, light malt, grassy and floral notes, and a hint of vanilla. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness, slightest hint of sour. Light body, slight oily texture, low carbonation. Dry with some increase in bitterness to finish. Grower.
