Cask at GBBF 2010. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has only light notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as lighter notes of peaches, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2011. Very dark brown red colour. Near white head. Thats not a bad strong darkish beer. Sweetish beer. Good syrupy fruit. I rather liked it.

Cask @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted - caramel, cereal notes, sour malt notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20100805]

Cask (GBBF 2010) - Golden in colour. Slightly gassy aroma with hints of malt. Fruity and hoppy taste with grapefruit and apricot detected.

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, earth, grass and some mild caramel malts. Flavour is fruits, wood, caramel and mild toffee. Quite bitter wooden and floral finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal and slight grassy. Sweet malty, slight citrusy fruity. Bitter and dry into a mild citrusy finish.

On gravity at the Tuckers Maltings Beer festival, Newton Abbot 23/04/10. Dark copper in colour with no head. Malty aroma with some plum fruit. Flavour had bready malts, dark fruit and a hint of roastiness, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask gravity at Pigโ€™s Ear BF 09. Copper colour, some diacetyl on aroma, but this doesnโ€™t affect it too much. some nice toffee, bit of dryness on finish. OK.

Draught. Clear coppery brown with thin beige head. Little aroma - toffee, caramel, apples. Medium body, very light carbonation. Light flavour with caramel, dark malt, little bitterness and maybe a hint of seaweed. Easy drinking, satisfying taste and mouthfeel but not special.

Draught @ Reform Inn. Clear gold with thin white head. Little aroma - hint of apples and something vaguely perfumy / soapy?. Medium body, light carbonation. Flavour has plenty of malt, slight bitterness and a hint of apples. Itโ€™s easy drinking pleasant beer but not very special.
